Sputnik Armenia website changed domain

MOSCOW, March 24 The Sputnik Armenia website has been transferred to a new domain, the agency’s technical service reported.

"On the evening of Friday, March 22, at approximately 21:00 Moscow time, the Nic.ru registrar responsible for the domain changed ns servers, as a result of which sites for these domains became unavailable. No reason was given. The site is out of control. The specialists submitted a request to the Russian registrar,” they emphasized.

The technical service added that the Sputnik Armenia website was transferred to the “ru” domain zone. It is available at am.sputniknews.ru in Russian and arm.sputniknews.ru in Armenian.
In December, the Armenian Television and Radio Commission suspended the license of the Tospa radio company, a repeater of Sputnik Armenia radio. The department clarified that two administrative proceedings have been initiated. The first concerned the broadcast of the program “Friday with Tigran Keosayan” on November 17. The second administrative proceedings were initiated because of the Abovyan Time program.
A month later, the commission lifted the ban on broadcasting Sputnik Armenia.
