The Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry recommended that fellow citizens refrain from traveling to Russia

BISHKEK, March 25 The Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry recommended to fellow citizens to temporarily refrain from traveling to the Russian Federation due to the enhanced security measures introduced there, the press service of the Foreign Ministry issued a corresponding message on Monday.
“In connection with the terrorist attack that occurred on March 22, 2024 in the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Moscow, which resulted in the death and injury of a large number of people, as well as the introduction of enhanced security measures and anti-terrorism protection throughout Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends citizens who do not have compelling reasons to travel to the Russian Federation should temporarily refrain from traveling to its territory until additional security measures and the regime of enhanced control of entry across the state border are lifted,” the message says.
According to the document, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommended that fellow citizens already staying on the territory of the Russian Federation refrain from visiting crowded places, and also always carry with them documents proving their identity and the legality of their stay on the territory of Russia.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends compliance with the legal requirements of law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation as part of their work to ensure public safety,” the message clarifies.

Shooting and fire occurred on the evening of March 22 before a concert at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow. A correspondent who witnessed the incident reported that several men in camouflage and without masks burst into the hall, they shot people point-blank and threw incendiary bombs.
According to the latest data from the Investigative Committee, 137 people died, three of whom were children. The editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group and the RT television channel, Margarita Simonyan, reported that the number of victims had risen to 143. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 152 people were injured as a result of the terrorist attack. March 24 was declared a day of national mourning.

Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that all four perpetrators of the terrorist attack were found and detained — they tried to escape and were moving towards Ukraine, where a “window” was prepared for them on the Ukrainian side to cross the border. The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that these were foreigners. The President noted that a total of 11 people were detained, and security forces are working to uncover the entire terrorist base. According to the FSB, the weapons used by the terrorists were prepared in advance in a cache.
Putin said that Russia was faced not just with a carefully cynically planned terrorist attack, but with a prepared and organized mass murder of civilians. The President emphasized that all perpetrators, organizers and customers of this crime will suffer fair and inevitable punishment.
