The media, citing sources, report the pardon of two members of the so-called Tsapkov gang, who committed a mass murder in the village of Kushchevskaya, Krasnodar Territory, in 2010. Then, in a private house, a local farmer and his relatives, family friends and a neighbor with her son were killed — a total of 12 people, including four children. The youngest victim, a farmer's granddaughter, was 9 months old. The investigation later established that the "Tsapkov gang" was involved in many other crimes in the village. The criminals were charged with numerous cases of rape, robbery, grievous bodily harm, and murder. Several members of the gang were convicted and received long sentences of imprisonment, including life.
