The Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested the last owner of the white Renault, which was used by Dilovar Islomov, accused of attacking Crocus City Hall, as well as his brother Aminchon Islomov and their father Isroil Islomov. A Mediazona correspondent reported this from the court.
A criminal case was opened against them for aiding terrorists (Article 205 of the Criminal Code). The Islomovs did not admit their guilt.
According to the security forces, some of the alleged participants in the attack on Crocus City Hall arrived at the shopping and entertainment center in a white Renault. They tried to hide from the police in the same car, but they were found in the Bryansk region.
Dilovar Ismoilov told Novaya Gazeta Europe that he sold the car about a week before the terrorist attack. He also promised to provide the publication with a purchase and sale agreement for the car. According to Islomov, he and his brother themselves came to the police after reports of a terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.
Today, March 25, a relative of Dilovar and Aminchon Islomov told Novaya Gazeta Europe that the men had not contacted their loved ones for more than two days.
“I don’t know where they are. They called them on the phone, but the numbers were unavailable,” a relative of the men told reporters.
When asked whether he understood the accusation, Aminchon Islomov said that he was innocent.
On the evening of March 24, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested four suspects in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. At the same time, the head of the FSB, Alexander Bastrykin, reported to Putin about the detention of 11 people. The BBC Russian service reported that two participants in the attack on Crocus City Hall were killed.
