MOSCOW, March 25 Actor from the TV series “Gangster Petersburg” and “Streets of Broken Lanterns” Alexander Karpukhov died at the age of 50, his colleague at the St. Petersburg Youth Theater reported Fontanka Alexander Andreev.

Karpukhov was born in 1974 in Leningrad, studied at the Institute of Aviation Instrumentation, and then in 1994 at St. Petersburg State Aviation Institute. Since 1999 he served at the Youth Theater on Fontanka.
Karpukhov starred in episodic roles in films and TV series such as “Streets of Broken Lanterns”, “Gangster Petersburg”, “Foundry”, “Deadly Force”.
