Judge Elena Lenskaya of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested 32-year-old Alisher Kasimov, accused in the case of a terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall. This was reported by a Mediazona correspondent from the courtroom.
Answering the judge’s question about whether he understood the essence of the charges, Kasimov immediately begins to explain that he did not know that his tenants were connected with terrorism, he simply posted an advertisement for rent on Avito.

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow today will choose a preventive measure for Alisher Kasimov, who rented out an apartment to one of the alleged perpetrators of the terrorist attack.

His mother came from Kyrgyzstan to the meeting to select a preventive measure for Kasimov. She told a Mediazona correspondent that her son was detained early in the morning on Saturday, March 23. Kasimov was then at home in Krasnogorsk near Moscow with his family.
The investigation's request was considered behind closed doors; journalists were not allowed to be present.

Alisher Kasimov is the eighth arrested person involved in the case of a terrorist attack (clause “b” of part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code) in Crocus. The probable perpetrators of the terrorist attack were arrested on the evening of Sunday, March 24. Yesterday, March 25, the court took into custody the former owner of the Renault car in which the terrorists were driving, as well as his brother and father.
