MOSCOW, March 26 The second racket of the world, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, beat Frenchman Gael Monfils in the third round of the Masters tennis tournament in Miami (USA), the prize fund of which is almost $9 million.
The meeting ended with a score of 6:2, 6:4 in favor of the Spaniard, seeded number one. The tennis players spent 1 hour and 14 minutes on the court.
Alcaraz will play against Italian Lorenzo Musetti (23rd seed) for reaching the quarterfinals.
