MOSCOW, March 27 Deputy head of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation Elena Yagodkina was brought to the Basmanny Court of Moscow to consider the investigator’s petition to arrest her in the case of excess official powers, the correspondent reports.
A paddy wagon arrived at the court, and a woman visually similar to Yagodkina came out. The press service of the court confirmed that it was her.
Yagodkina is charged with abuse of power with the use of violence (Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The investigator asks to send her to a pre-trial detention center.
