DONETSK, March 26 Ukrainian troops struck along the water supply infrastructure in Gorlovka, a section of the water pipeline was broken, the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko reported on the Telegram channel.
«According to preliminary data, Ukrainian militants launched a targeted attack on the water supply infrastructure. A section of the water pipeline was broken,» the mayor wrote.
The DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) also reported that from 22.20 to 22.25 the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired five 155 mm NATO shells at Gorlovka.
Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250 thousand people.
