
MOSCOW, March 27 The Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Finance of Russia, within the framework of the state program for the development of high-tech startups “Takeoff — from startup to IPO,” will work on the issue of additional allocation of 1 billion rubles in 2024. The corresponding instruction to the ministries was given by the head of government Mikhail Mishustin following the results of the strategic session on the implementation of socio-economic development initiatives, according to the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
«One of the «Technological Breakthrough» initiatives — «Take Off — from Startup to IPO» — is aimed at supporting technology companies and helping to create conditions for the emergence of new technology leaders in the country. To achieve the parameters of this initiative, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Finance will work on the issue of an additional allocation of 1 billion rubles in 2024 for the implementation of measures to develop existing and support new projects of technology companies. The corresponding report must be submitted to the government by April 5,» the website says.
The state program for the development of high-tech startups involves comprehensive financial and non-financial support from the moment of developing a promising idea to the stage of the company entering the capital market. SME companies involved in a number of priority areas can count on support measures within the framework of the “Takeoff — from startup to IPO” project: artificial intelligence, communication Internet technologies, Internet of things, new production technologies, technologies of new materials and substances, genetic technologies, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
