MOSCOW, March 26 Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded opera singer Nikolai Didenko for creating a charity festival for children «White» Steamboat» Presidential Prize for young cultural figures in the field of literature.
The head of state on Tuesday presents the Russian Presidential Prize for young cultural figures for 2023 and the Russian Presidential Prize in the field of literature and art for works for children and youth for 2023.
“I am infinitely grateful for the high appreciation of my work and the work of a large number of people who work every day to create this festival,” Didenko said at the award ceremony.
He added that in 2024 the festival will celebrate its 19th anniversary, and next year will be its anniversary.
““This summer the 19th music festival “White Steamer” will take place, which will bring together unusually talented children from all over the country,” Didenko said.
In addition, he invited Vladimir Putin to attend the concerts of the White Steamship festival in July, they will be held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, the concert will be conducted by Valery Gergiev. Didenko also spoke about the dream of the children who participate in the festival to visit the Kremlin.
