MOSCOW, March 27 French Professional Football League (LFP) on Wednesday presented a new logo for the top division of the national championship (Ligue 1), which will become official from the 2024/25 season.
The presentation video was published on the Ligue 1 page on the X social network. The future logo of the French championship is a white number 1 on a light blue background.
Users X in the comments gave mixed ratings to the new logo, among them comparisons with the Channel One logo stand out.
The reason for the rebranding was the expiration of a four-year agreement with the league sponsor, the online food ordering and delivery platform Uber Eats. Previously, the league announced that the McDonald's restaurant chain would become the tournament's new partner.
