The seven-seat SUV of the Italian brand is expected to appear in 2025 and take the place of the retired Fiat Tipo. Its production will probably be established in Turkey.
The Fiat brand, owned by the auto giant Stellantis, is currently changing its model range. It is expected that in the near future Tipo (depending on the market, available in sedan, hatchback, cross-hatchback, station wagon and cross-station wagon) will become part of the history of the Italian brand, and it will be replaced by a roomy crossover with a name familiar to many — Multipla.< /p> In the photo: Fiat Multipla (2002-2004 version)
Many people remember the six-seater Fiat Multipla compact van because of its very controversial design, as well as two rows of seats (three seats for passengers in each). This car was produced from 1998 to 2010, and the Chinese analogue under the Zotye brand lasted on the assembly line until 2013. Rumors that the Multipla could return to the Fiat lineup as a crossover appeared at the end of 2022.

So far, there is no official data on what the new SUV called Fiat Multipla, no. The designer of the Spanish publication Motor.es prepared his own version of the potential appearance of such a car. Judging by the render, the exterior of the new product may be designed in the style of the new Panda, patent images of which were published early last month.
Render of the new Fiat Multipla crossover
It is expected that the new product will receive a traditional body, roof rails on a black roof, pillars of the same color (which creates the effect of a “floating” top), as well as matching traditional exterior mirror housings and regular door handles. The model received a body kit made of unpainted plastic around the perimeter of the body, including linings on the wheel arches, as well as an almost smooth hood — with a couple of laconic stampings on the sides.

The front part of the crossover is depicted with a solid plug in place of the radiator grille, in the center of which there is a logo in the form of the brand name. The head optics are designed in the same way as the new Panda: the headlights are emphasized along the lower edge and are connected to each other by an LED strip that acts as running lights. Below are the foglights with surrounds. A large hexagonal air intake with a mesh pattern is integrated into the lower part of the front bumper.
About There is no information about the interior yet either. It is expected that the crossover will be designed for seven passengers, the seating formula is 2+3+2. Probably, the interior will be unified with the new Panda, which is now preparing for presentation (the model will debut in July 2024). It is assumed that the new Fiat Multipla SUV will be based on the CMP (Common Modular Platform) trolley from the Stellantis portfolio; In particular, it is based on the Citroën C4 X cross-sedan, which debuted in 2022.
The rendering probably shows a fully electric version of the new product. It is expected that its maximum range without recharging will be approximately 400 km. However, the model will most likely have modifications with internal combustion engines and hybrid power plants. Details will appear later. On the European market, the new Fiat Multipla is tipped to compete with the Dacia Duster, which debuted at the end of last fall.
