
ROSTOV-ON-DON, March 28 The court in Rostov-on-Don chose preventive measures in the form of detention and house arrest for members of the extremist organization » Allya-Ayat»*, said a representative of the joint press service of the courts of the Rostov region.
As the investigation reported, in 2023, the 65-year-old defendant created the “Allya-Ayat*” cell in Rostov-on-Don, where he attracted local residents. According to police, the defendants were aggressively recruiting military personnel and civilians. Their activities were coordinated by centers from abroad “with the uncontrolled withdrawal of financial flows to unfriendly states.” On Wednesday it became known that the alleged organizer of the cell and five of its active participants were detained. They have been charged.
