MOSCOW, March 27 Clients of Otkritie Bank will be able to transfer their funds to VTB Bank in a few clicks; such technology is currently being developed, said Dmitry Pyanov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of VTB.
«In April, a unique IT tool will be ready, which within our organizations is called a technically difficult «migrator-orchestrator». This is a unique technology that will allow a client of Otkritie Bank to remotely open accounts or an account with VTB Bank by pressing a few buttons or clicks , sign all the necessary banking documents electronically with an electronic signature and transfer funds using the advantageous welcome offer for new clients at VTB Bank,” the VTB press service quotes Pyanov as saying.
He added that such a technological tool was not used in previous integrations at the bank.
«In fact, we see that many of our clients and clients of Otkritie Bank use exclusively remote channels. This is a response to the active prevalence and popularity of remote channels with the ability to migrate all their balances and relink without visiting the office , what is also important, an Otkritie card for a new account at VTB without loss of convenience and without the need to produce a new card,” Pyanov clarified.
Otkritie Bank is owned by VTB. The Bank of Russia, which has been rehabilitating Otkritie since 2017, sold this credit institution to VTB in December 2022.
