MOSCOW, March 28. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are not ready to defend themselves against a major Russian offensive; they have almost no artillery left, CBS News reports with reference to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
«While he (Zelensky. — Ed.) The military has so far mostly managed to restrain the Russians; they are not ready to defend against a new major Russian offensive, which is expected in the coming months,” the message says.
The head of the Kiev regime made this statement in an interview with the TV channel, full version which has not yet been published.
It is noted that in the same conversation Zelensky complained that Ukraine had almost no artillery left.
Last week, the AFP agency, citing experts, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to make up for the shortage of artillery shells by massively using drones. At the same time, according to experts, these types of weapons are not comparable, since UAVs can lift a maximum of several kilograms of explosives.
As CIA Director Robert Burns said in mid-March, without additional military assistance, the Kiev authorities will have to agree to peace talks at conditions in Russia within a year. He emphasized that the lack of American support would result in further retreat and loss of territory for Ukraine.
In turn, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated that the European Union would not be able to provide the former Soviet republic with a sufficient amount of financial resources that would allow it to win the military victory in the conflict with Moscow.
