BELGOROD, March 29 The Fund for Support of Small and Medium Businesses in the Belgorod Region will provide preferential loans at 1% to all entrepreneurs affected by shelling, the press service of the regional government reported.
As the government noted, the day before Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov met with entrepreneurs. The main topic of discussion was the conditions for doing business in the current operational environment.
«We came to a general conclusion about what support measures are needed. First of all, entrepreneurs mentioned tax holidays and loans on preferential terms. The regional Fund is ready to provide such loans to entrepreneurs affected by shelling right now support for small and medium-sized businesses. So far, 50 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes — for loans of up to 3 million rubles for a period of up to 3 years at 1% per annum,» Gladkov said, as quoted by the press service.
The Governor also emphasized the importance of the safety of residents and the restoration of damaged property. The plans include organizing meetings of entrepreneurs with the tax service, banks and the government to resolve issues that have arisen. Possible measures to compensate for lost profits of entrepreneurs were also discussed.
«Together with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, we continue to work on these and other areas. We are currently compiling a list with clearly structured calculations and proposals,» added Gladkov.
