MOSCOW, March 29. The head of the French right-wing party “Get Up, France,” Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, in an interview with Europe 1 radio, proposed depriving Ukraine of its military potential.
“Peace is possible if Ukraine is demilitarized, if NATO does not expand further,” — he noted.
The politician called the continuation of the conflict suicide for Europe, because, among other things, it makes Europe dependent on the United States in the economic sphere.
“If we do not understand that there are priorities and the choice that needs to be made, then Europe will simply disappear because of the absurd conflict in Ukraine,” he concluded.
Last week, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu spoke at a department board. According to him, since the beginning of the year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost more than 71 thousand people and 11 thousand pieces of equipment. The losses of the Ukrainian army were almost three times higher than in the same period last year, Shoigu noted. The minister added that the army continues to push the enemy out of their positions and does not allow him to gain a foothold on new lines.
