Classes in schools in Belgorod, Yakovlevsky district and border areas of the Belgorod region will be held online in the fourth quarter, said Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov. In mid-March, due to shelling from the Ukrainian side, vacations were announced there early.
“In all other territories of the Belgorod region, as was previously the case, there is full-time education. Unfortunately, it is impossible to conduct classes in clubs and sections in a 30-kilometer zone from the state border today,” the official added.
Gladkov also cited the conditions for the opening of shopping centers in Belgorod, the work of which was also suspended in mid-March due to escalating shelling.
According to him, for this it is necessary that “they have brickwork”, be “sealed with film”, and the staff be “trained in first aid” and “many other solutions have been worked out that ensure safety «.
