MOSCOW, March 27 Singer Katya Lel demanded through the court that presenter Otari Kushanashvili remove his videos about her from YouTube, the Tushinsky Court of Moscow reported.
““The court received a statement of claim from Lel Ekaterina Nikolaevna against Otari Shalvovich Kushanashvili and Google LLC for the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation,” the court was told.

In the lawsuit, the singer points out that Kushanashvili’s words in videos posted online cause her reputational harm and create a negative image as a public figure.
““She asks to remove the video materials, refute the information concerning the plaintiff published by Kushanashvili on his personal YouTube channel, and also to recover money as compensation for moral damage,” the court noted.
So far the claim has been left without progress due to procedural violations. It is still unclear what kind of monetary compensation the singer is demanding.

The track “My Marmalade”, performed by Katya Lel, was released in 2004 and became the leader of the Russian charts. In November 2023, it became a trend among foreigners and “viral” on TikTok. English-speaking social network users tried to repeat the words of the composition, dressing in earflaps and fur coats.
In one of the interviews, she explained the success of the track as “the plan of higher civilizations” and said that with such a “load of consciousness” we are being prepared for something important. On his YouTube channel, Kushanashvili ridiculed this statement and asked the singer to “stop.” The court did not specify whether this particular video became the reason for the lawsuit.
