Rosatom has thought through measures to reduce damage in the event of a ban on uranium from Russia

MOSCOW, March 29 Restrictions on the supply of Russian uranium to world markets are unlikely, but Rosatom has nevertheless worked out measures to reduce damage to itself and to buyers, according to the reports of JSC Atomenergoprom (part of the state corporation, consolidating civilian assets of the Russian nuclear industry) according to RAS for 2023.
«Despite the low probability of the risk of restrictions of this kind, measures have been worked out to reduce the damage from them both for buyers and for the Company, including an analysis of the possibilities of transferring orders to domestic Russian enterprises, legal protection of the interests of the Company, etc.,» says in the document.
Atomenergoprom provides a full production cycle in the nuclear energy sector, from uranium mining to nuclear power plant construction and electricity generation.
