The military spoke about the fight against drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye direction

MELITOPOL, March 31UAV hunters from the electronic warfare units of the 42nd division of the Russian Armed Forces destroy up to 60 kamikaze drones of Ukrainian militants per day and about two large attack drones and reconnaissance drones per week in forward positions in the Zaporozhye direction, the unit commander said in the video.
“Kamikaze FPV drones, which we have to fight with very often. Sometimes we have to land 60 of them a day. This is the most terrible thing and prevents our guys in the infantry at the front from advancing. We try to fight them most effectively, because that people’s lives directly depend on this: the more we imprison, the less goals will be achieved, the more whole guys there will be who will return home to their families,” the interlocutor said.

He also noted that a mobile group of UAV hunters managed to shoot down one of the large drones of Ukrainian militants, an agrocopter that was hunting for equipment of the Russian Armed Forces, it is called “Baba Yaga” because that it flies primarily at night and makes a sound characteristic of its type. It is also successful in combating the reconnaissance UAV of the Leleka aircraft type — it is possible to “land” about two or three such targets per week.

«Baba Yaga» carries four mines with a caliber of 82 millimeters. It also affects equipment — both light and heavy. At night, when the equipment is stationary, it hits dugouts and personnel… There are not very many of these “Baba Yaga” or “Leleka” (they have to be shot down per week — ed.). We don’t find any trophies, maybe we get more. And so, on average, two to three units per week,” said the unit commander.
