Putin instructed to approve programs for regions with low levels of development

MOSCOW, April 1 Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered by October 1 to approve individual programs for 10 Russian regions with the lowest level of socio-economic development, without support within the framework of state programs, and allocate at least 10 billion rubles annually until 2030 for their implementation. The list of the president’s instructions for the implementation of the address to the Federal Assembly, which took place on February 29, was published on the Kremlin website.
«To the Government of the Russian Federation… to approve individual programs of socio-economic development for 2025–2030 for 10 constituent entities of the Russian Federation with the lowest level of socio-economic development that do not have financial support from the federal budget within the framework of individual state programs of the Russian Federation, aimed at the balanced development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation that are part of the priority territories, providing for the allocation of additional budgetary allocations from the federal budget in the amount of at least 10 billion rubles annually,” the document states.
The deadline for the execution of this order is October 1, 2024, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Mikhail Mishustin, has been appointed responsible.
