MOSCOW, April 1Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government, together with the executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and Gazprom, to expand the gasification program, extending it to garden non-profit partnerships (SNT) and is awaiting a corresponding report by July 15, according to the Kremlin website.

The corresponding report must be submitted by July 15, then every six months.

In 2021, on Putin’s instructions, the Russian Government began to implement a “socially oriented” gasification system. It assumes a gradual increase in the level of gasification in the country from 71% of households in 2020 to 82.9% in 2030, as well as the implementation of accelerated additional gasification of households in already gasified areas without attracting citizens’ funds. In 2022, the additional gasification program was also extended to boiler houses providing heat supply to educational and medical institutions.
Earlier, Putin, announcing a message to the Federal Assembly, announced the expansion of the program. Now it should extend to gardening partnerships. According to the Ministry of Energy, the potential for post-gasification of housing there is about 1.5 million houses.
