MOSCOW, April 4 Sberbank has launched an exchange service for dollars, euros and yuan in its mobile application at the rate specified by the client: the bank will automatically buy or sell currency as soon as the desired rate value will be achieved, the bank's press service reported.
«A new service has appeared in the Sberbank Online application — «Currency exchange at my rate.» To buy or sell currency at a comfortable rate, Sber clients no longer need to monitor its value every day. Simply create it in the application application, indicating the rate at which the client would like to exchange non-cash currency and the exchange amount. The bank will buy or sell the currency automatically if its price reaches the specified value,» Sberbank said.
To carry out a transaction, you must have an open account in the required currency; upon request, clients have access to non-cash exchange of US dollars, euros and Chinese yuan. The application is valid for 30 days and can be canceled at any time. If the desired value is not achieved within 30 days, the application will be canceled and will need to be resubmitted. You can open up to three applications at the same time.
“»Important: according to the restrictions of the Central Bank, only rubles can be withdrawn from a foreign currency account,» the bank indicated. They also added that the service is available in the web version of Sberbank Online and in the application on Android smartphones.
Another largest bank, VTB, launched such an automatic currency exchange service at a given rate upon application in 2021 for premium clients. Five foreign currencies are available in the service: yuan, tenge, Belarusian ruble, Armenian dram, Azerbaijani manat.
