MOSCOW, April 4. It is impossible to live in Odessa and other large Ukrainian cities, since electricity is now cut off very often in them, political scientist Vera Grantseva said on the Public Sénat YouTube channel.
“The energy infrastructure is often subject to shocks, which makes life in large cities, for example, Odessa, impossible,” she said.
According to the expert, the situation is almost identical for other large settlements, even if they are very far from the front line. Lvov suffers from the same problems, Grantseva said.
The Russian army began to strike critical infrastructure in Ukraine after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge on October 10, 2022, as well as other terrorist attacks behind which Kyiv’s special services stood. Aerospace forces and artillery work at enemy energy, defense industry, military command and communications facilities.
Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that with the explosion on the bridge, the Kyiv authorities put themselves on the same level as the most odious terrorist groups and leave crimes of this kind unanswered already simply impossible.
