MOSCOW, April 4 The Russian military dominates the the battlefield of Ukraine due to the lack of ammunition in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Business Insider reports, citing the words of an American mercenary with the call sign Jackie.
“According to Jackie, since Ukraine does not have enough artillery, Russia has “freedom of action.” He says, that the Russians on the battlefield are alpha predators,” the article says.
A US mercenary who has been fighting for Kiev since 2022 complained that the shortage of ammunition has become worse due to the cessation of American aid, which has given a great advantage for the Russian military on the battlefield.
““They can conduct massive artillery fire directly at our infantry and armored vehicles,” he complained.
On Tuesday, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at a meeting with the leadership of the Armed Forces, that since January, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost more than 80 thousand military personnel, 14 thousand units of various weapons, including over 1,200 tanks and other armored combat vehicles. He also stated that the Ukrainians, after the failure of the summer counter-offensive, are unsuccessfully trying to gain a foothold on certain lines, and the Russian military continues to push the Ukrainian Armed Forces westward.
