The authorities of the Orenburg region deny reports of drinking water contamination
The Baza Telegram channel, citing sources, reports that on Saturday seven people were admitted to Orsk hospitals with an intestinal infection.
«Several more people applied seek help from doctors on April 5,” the message says.
According to sources, “all victims have the same symptoms — vomiting and nausea,” people were hospitalized in a moderate condition.
Earlier, messages about possible contamination of drinking water due to the flood were distributed on social networks. The government of the Orenburg region stated that “the quality of drinking water from centralized sources meets the requirements of hygienic standards.” At the same time, residents were advised “as a preventative measure” to drink boiled or bottled water or use high-purity filters.
