
MOSCOW, April 4 Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that he is counting on joint and consolidated work with the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia (FNPR) to achieve national goals.
“I really count on our (joint with the FNPR) joint, consolidated work to achieve national goals,” Putin said at the congress of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia.
The President of the Russian Federation noted that the government today is not putting the country's economy on a war footing and is not abolishing any social guarantees for workers, and is even tightening their compliance with all government bodies. At the same time, the purchasing power of Russians is only growing, he added.
The congress of the FNPR is taking place in Moscow on April 3-5.
