As a result, a mass evacuation of people began from the Old City, where several villages are located that fell into the flood zone. Temporary accommodation centers have been prepared for those evacuated from the flooded area. The Ministry of Emergency Situations assesses the flood situation in the Orenburg region as difficult. The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Alexander Kurenkov, arrived in the region.
