MOSCOW, April 4 The candidacy of Irina Podnosova was recommended to Russian President Vladimir Putin for submission to the Federation Council for appointment as Chairman of the Supreme Court, according to the Kremlin website.
“»A meeting of the Presidential Commission was held to preliminary consider the issues of appointment of judges and termination of their powers. By the decision of the Commission, the candidacy of Irina Leonidovna Podnosova was recommended to the President for submission to the Federation Council for appointment to the position of Chairman of the Supreme Court,» the message says.
It is noted that candidates for the positions of judges of federal courts submitted for consideration by the head of state were also considered, decisions were made regarding 432 candidates.
