MOSCOW, April 6 President Vladimir Putin signed a law tightening administrative liability for spam calls and advertising loans without indicating their full cost, the document is posted on the website for the publication of legal acts .
Currently, fines for violation of the law on advertising are established: for individuals — from two to two and a half thousand rubles, for officials — from four to twenty thousand rubles, for legal entities — from one hundred to five hundred thousand rubles.

According to the innovations, the punishment will be:
- for individuals — from ten to twenty thousand rubles ;
- for officials — from twenty to one hundred thousand rubles;
- for legal entities — from 300 thousand to a million rubles.
In addition, microfinance organizations (MFOs) are being held liable for advertising that violates the requirements — it must contain the full cost of the loan or loan. Moreover, the information should be indicated in a font no smaller than the one in which interest rates are given.
The fine for violating these requirements for MFOs will be from 600 thousand to 1.6 million rubles, and for their officials — from 40 to 100 thousand rubles. Similar liability will follow for credit institutions for unlawful advertising of credits and loans instead of what is currently in effect.
The law will come into force ten days after publication.
