MOSCOW, April 6 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law increasing the amount of large and especially large damages, according to which responsibility for economic crimes is transferred from administrative to the criminal plane. The corresponding document is posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
The leader of the New People faction, which initiated the adoption of the law, Aleksey Nechaev noted that in terms of the amount of damage in some criminal economic articles, inflation has already reached 80%, which means that the amount of damage does not correspond to the harm caused. In his opinion, it is necessary to transfer more violations from the criminal to the administrative. This will create a more comfortable environment for entrepreneurs.
The law provides for an increase in the thresholds for significant, large and especially large amounts of damage. In particular, changes are being made to a number of articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. So, for example, under the article on the introduction of knowingly false information into the boundary plan, technical plan, survey report» (170.2) — the large amount of damage increases from 2.25 million to 3.5 million rubles, and especially large damage — from 9 to 13, 5 million rubles.
Under the article “Fraud” (159), the amount of significant damage increases from 10 thousand to 250 thousand rubles, large damage — from 3 million to 4.5 million rubles, especially large — from 12 million to 18 million rubles.
In case of violations under the article “Illegal activities related to the provision of consumer loans” (171.5), a large amount of damage is recognized as the amount of hidden funds, in the aggregate amounting to more than 4.5 million rubles.
Under the article «Restriction of competition» (178), the amount of large income increases from 50 million to 80 million rubles, and especially large income — from 250 million to 390 million rubles. The amount of large damage increases from 10 to 390 million rubles. 16 million rubles, and especially large ones — from 30 million to 47 million rubles.
