MOSCOW, April 8 The situation in flooded Orsk is still difficult, although the high water has subsided, the press service reports in the Telegram channel governor and government of the Orenburg region.
“In the Orenburg region, the fight against the flood and its consequences continues. The situation in Orsk still remains difficult, although the high water has subsided. 6,987 residential buildings were flooded, 2,467 people were evacuated (including 704 children). 16 temporary accommodation centers were organized, 1,455 people are accommodated in them, 223 of them are children,” the statement says.

The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Alexander Kurenkov, arrived in the region.
