MOSCOW, April 9The Ministry of Internal Affairs identified the suspect who attacked police officers in Shchelkovo near Moscow, department representative Irina Volk reported in her Telegram channel.

“A resident of Moscow, Vasily Vladimirovich Buryakov, born in 1990, is wanted for committing a particularly serious crime,” she clarified.
Volk added that the police are taking measures to establish his whereabouts and detain him.< br />
A representative of the department warned that the attacker may be armed, so “you should be careful not to enter into dialogue with him and not make independent attempts to apprehend him.”
She also recalled that due to the attack on employees of the Shchelkovskoye Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «In the Moscow region, a criminal case has been opened and is being investigated under the article «Encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer.»
The attack on police officers occurred on Sunday evening. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, law enforcement officers carried out operational measures to detain a drug dealer who opened fire on them. One of the employees was killed on the spot, the second was hospitalized in intensive care.
