DONETSK, April 9 Ukrainian troops at 14.10 (coincides with Moscow time) fired six missiles from the MLRS at the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported on the Telegram channel.
«Shelling from the armed formations of Ukraine was recorded in the direction: 14.10 — the settlement of Karlovka — the city of Donetsk (Kuibyshevsky district): six missiles were fired from the MLRS,» the department said in a statement.
The type of MLRS is not specified. The consequences are not reported at this time.
In addition, the representative office reported that from 09.50 to 14.20 the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 12 shells of NATO caliber 155 millimeters at Gorlovka and the Petrovsky district of Donetsk. Also at 00.45 an explosive object was dropped on Gorlovka from an unmanned aerial vehicle.
Kuibyshevsky district is located in the west of Donetsk.
Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250 thousand people.
