
YEKATERINBURG, April 10The first payments in connection with the flood in the amount of 10 thousand rubles began to be received by residents of two municipal districts in the Kurgan region — Zverinogolovsky and Tsellin, said the regional governor Vadim Shumkov on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
«Today the amounts are as follows, the order is as follows: 10 thousand rubles — a citizen is paid if his home is flooded, 30 thousand rubles — if there is a partial loss of property, 50 thousand rubles — if movable property is completely lost. In relation to real estate there will be a special procedure will be implemented,” Shumkov said. 
He noted that there are people’s appeals.
“Today the first payments of 10 thousand rubles each begin in two municipal districts – Zverinogolovsky and Tsellin,” added the regional governor.
Regional Governor Vadim Shumkov introduced a regional emergency regime in the Kurgan region. There is a threat of flooding for more than 60 settlements. According to the forecast of the State Emergency Management Agency for the flood-hazardous period, 62 settlements, 4,300 houses, 5,550 household plots, 600 summer cottages may be flooded in the region, and 18,718 people may fall into the emergency zone.
According to the head of the region, the arrival of high water in Kurgan is predicted for April 11-14. In the Zverinogolovsky district, where the flood situation is the most serious, the water level in the Tobol River rose to 952 centimeters, with 127 centimeters remaining to the critical level.
