MOSCOW, April 9 Russia is provided with the necessary volumes of production and reserves of gasoline, and also fully fulfills contracts for the supply of fuel to friendly countries, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation told reporters.

Contracts for the supply of motor fuels to friendly countries are also being fully implemented. The existing inventories of motor fuel are sufficient to meet the needs of domestic consumers, including taking into account the planned increase in demand in the spring-summer period.” , — the message says. 
According to Rosstat, gasoline production in Russia from March 25 to April 1 increased by 2.7% compared to the previous week — to 775 thousand tons, diesel fuel — decreased by 1.8%, to 1.618 million tons .
The Russian government has introduced a ban on gasoline exports from March 1 to August 31. The decisions taken are aimed at maintaining a stable situation in the fuel market during periods of increased demand. The export ban does not apply to fuel exported for the provision of international humanitarian assistance and for the personal use of citizens. The restriction also does not apply to supplies within the framework of intergovernmental agreements, including the EAEU countries.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation has previously introduced a ban on the export of petroleum products — from September 21. This was preceded by several months of record stock prices for fuel in Russia and a significant acceleration in the growth of retail prices. The ban on the export of gasoline was lifted on November 17, summer diesel fuel on November 22, and the embargo on winter diesel fuel was not lifted.
