Lukashenko: if necessary, Belarus will help Russia in negotiations with Ukraine

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who arrived in Moscow for negotiations, said that he sees no point in Russia negotiating with Ukraine. At the same time, he emphasized that if necessary, Belarus will help Russia in such negotiations.
Upon arrival for negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Belarusian leader said that today he would discuss “ordinary issues” with the head of the Russian state, but some time will be devoted to the economy in order to “outline the track” before the meeting of the heads of government of the two countries.
In addition, Lukashenko noted that Russia does not need to negotiate with the forces that are behind Ukraine. At the same time, he emphasized that “if necessary, Belarus will help the Russian Federation in negotiations with Ukraine.”
Lukashenko also noted that he does not see the need to create a “sanitary zone” in the Belarusian regions bordering Ukraine.< /p>
Regarding the question about the possible transfer of Western military personnel to the border of Ukraine with Belarus, Lukashenko replied: “We are waiting. Let them transfer.”
