The Duma proposed that the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation revise the procedure for calculating the maintenance of gas equipment. Recently, the number of citizens' complaints about the sharp increase in the cost of servicing boilers, gas equipment, and stoves in residential buildings and apartments has sharply increased. The check, according to deputies, will help identify cases of unjustified increases in tariffs and reduce the level of dissatisfaction.
The State Duma has prepared a draft resolution addressed to the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, which involves checking the validity of the department's methodological instructions for calculating the amount of fees for the maintenance of indoor gas equipment (VKGO) in apartment buildings and indoor gas equipment (VDGO) in private residential buildings.< /p>
The fact is that recently deputies have been inundated with numerous complaints from citizens dissatisfied with the sharp increase in the amount of such fees. In some regions of the country, tariffs for servicing stoves and boilers have increased by 1.5 – 3.3 times. As the document emphasizes, “they do not provide any additional services to owners and tenants of residential premises.”
The problem arose due to new guidelines from the Ministry of Construction for calculating tariffs. For example, “the amount of the fee includes general production and general business expenses of the contractor not related to the maintenance activities of VKGO and VDGO,” — is emphasized in the document. As a result, the deputies decided to clarify on what grounds the department so sharply increased the fee for servicing gas equipment?
