MOSCOW, April 9 State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin invited deputies from regions where floods occurred to immediately go to the places, the press service of the State Duma told reporters.
““The Chairman of the State Duma invited deputies from the regions where floods occurred to immediately go to the places,” the press service reported.
The issue of eliminating the consequences of floods is under control in the relevant State Duma committees — on security and anti-corruption and on ecology, natural resources and environmental protection, the press service quotes Volodin as saying.
«Let's be more responsible. If some kind of trouble happens in our electoral districts, we need to be with the people, help them,» the press service quotes Volodin.
He added that deputies Nina Ostanina, Viktor Zavarzin, Oleg Dimov and others representing the Orenburg region, “without waiting for decisions, went to their constituencies.”
