A 17-year-old anarchist from Chita, persecuted for graffiti and telegram posts, was transferred to a pre-trial detention center for being two hours late home

The court transferred 17-year-old anarchist Lyubov Lizunova from house arrest to a pre-trial detention center. Yesterday activist Anastasia Shevchenko spoke about this, who learned about the court decision from the second person involved in the case, Alexander Snezhkov. Today this information was confirmed to the Agency by a relative of Lizunova.

“The main news is that my accomplice is in prison! This is what the harmless idea of staying late for my mother’s anniversary turned out to be,” Snezhkov wrote in a letter.

A relative of the anarchist told the Agency journalists the same thing: “She violated the regime. I didn’t come home on time, I was late for two hours.” According to the Agency’s interlocutor, the parents have already received a letter from Lizunova from the detention center, in which she said that she was “trying to hold on,” received a parcel and misses her parents and sister.

The Agency analyzed the data from the OVD -Info» and came to the conclusion that this is the first case in Russia of a minor being arrested for an anti-war crime.

While still at large, Lizunova told Mediazona that she, Snezhkov, who was then 19 years old, and two other comrades were detained on October 31, 2022, immediately after they painted graffiti “Death to the regime” in a garage cooperative. Then the security forces took away the phones and released the young people, but later they had complaints about the content of the Shugan-25 and 75ZLO channels, which they administered.

In particular, the interest of the security forces was aroused by a post in which Lizunova allegedly wrote: “I would like to note that I have an extremely positive attitude towards direct action actions if they do not cause CIVIL casualties” and added that “resistance is growing «

According to her, first a case was opened for vandalism (Article 214 of the Criminal Code), then for public calls for extremist activity (280 of the Criminal Code), and then public justification of terrorism was added to them (205.2 of the Criminal Code ). At the end of 2022, both young people were added to the list of terrorists maintained by Rosfinmonitoring. In January 2023, their preventive measure was tightened: Snezhkov was sent to an isolation ward, Lizunova was placed under house arrest.
