BLAGOVESCHENSK, April 12 A Kamaz crew vehicle and a Volvo truck collided on the Amur federal highway in the Amur region, as a result of the accident one person died, another seven were injured, the regional State Traffic Inspectorate reported.
The accident occurred in the Skovorodino district on Friday morning. 
“»At the 783rd kilometer of the Amur highway, a collision occurred between a Volvo truck and a Kamaz vehicle (shift vehicle). As a result of the accident, one person died and seven were injured,» the report says.
The circumstances of the incident are being established.
According to the Amur Region prosecutor's office, the driver of a cargo tractor did not choose a safe distance and caused a collision with a Kamaz vehicle moving towards him, in which there were 13 people. The passenger of the Kamaz was killed, 7 people, including the driver of the Volvo truck, were taken to the hospital.
