MOSCOW, April 12 Roskomnadzor is looking for the optimal use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the work of the department, building models and training neural networks, the RKN press service said.
“Roskomnadzor is actively studying the possibilities of new technologies and looking for the most optimal use of artificial intelligence for the department’s tasks, including building models and training neural networks,” the department said. 
< br />They noted that more than 100 million Russians use the Internet every day. At the same time, the flow of incoming information is increasing, the amount of prohibited and destructive content is growing, and technologies for generating and delivering information are also developing and becoming more complex.
«In these conditions, fast and accurate monitoring must be provided with a power corresponding to the growing flows of information. This problem can be effectively solved by combining various technologies, including solutions based on artificial intelligence» , — noted in RKN.
According to the regulator, the legislation now defines about 30 main types of prohibited information, however, not all of them show good detection accuracy. Thus, decisions regarding content found by the systems during monitoring with signs of violations are made by Roskomnadzor employees.
