Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander de Croo said that deliveries of F-16 aircraft to Ukraine by Brussels will be possible no earlier than 2025. He told reporters about this at a press conference, his words were quoted by European media.
He emphasized that Belgium is currently actively participating in a training mission to prepare Ukrainian pilots and maintenance personnel for the use of these aircraft.< /p>
De Croo explained that while some other countries could begin delivering F-16s as early as next month, Belgium currently still needs its own aircraft of this model. According to him, the replacement of these aircraft will begin next year, which will allow the country to have resources for supplies, but the final decision on this must be made by the next Belgian government.
