The British company Morgan Motor Company presented another set of improvements for the Plus Four roadster — a large-scale revision of the external decor was carried out, a package is now offered for an additional fee improved handling Dynamic Handling Pack.
The current Morgan Plus Four debuted in 2020, it is based on a unique aluminum CX-Generation platform with a wooden superstructure, and the complete power unit is supplied by BMW — a 2.0-liter petrol turbo-four B48 (258 hp, 350 Nm) paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed hydromechanical ZF automatic transmission. The roadster with a manual transmission accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, with an automatic transmission in 4.8 seconds, the maximum speed in both cases is 240 km/h.

Morgan Plus Four has already undergone two fairly large-scale upgrades, in 2021 and 2022, they brought the roadster improved sound insulation, improved ride comfort, new brakes, new seats, front airbags, stability control (ESC), Sennheiser audio system and many other minor improvements. The new upgrade was also quite impressive, especially in terms of design: they decided to make it extremely laconic and remove all unnecessary things — to reduce the so-called visual noise.

The most noticeable innovation is new, more powerful and brighter diode lighting technology: headlights and lanterns have incorporated turn signals, and accordingly there are fewer protruding elements on the body. The headlights also became larger, their diameter increased from 7 to 8 inches. The lower front air intake and aft diffuser have been given a simpler design and are now painted in a matte dark gray to blend in and highlight the lower horizontal line of the body.

Number plates are now attached not to the boxes, but as if floating in the air, that is, the mount is located inside their perimeter. The wings are completely new: it’s not noticeable at first glance, but the developers claim that the new profile has made it possible to achieve more elegant highlights; in natural light, the car began to look more elegant. All rear-view mirrors are also new, lighter (aluminum) and sleek. The nameplates are set in a new, but old-school-looking font of Morgan's own design.

There are also new things in the cabin: the Sennheiser audio system has been improved and received additional speakers under the seats, providing more powerful and surround sound, the Bluetooth connection range has been increased, and the ergonomics of controlling the volume and the order of playback of tracks have been improved. The graphics of the only LCD screen behind the steering wheel have been updated, the interior lighting has been improved and expanded.

The standard Morgan Plus Four spring suspension has been updated once again: new springs and shock absorbers with new valves have been installed , they made it possible to achieve the best, according to Morgan experts, balance between comfort and handling. Customers looking to shift that balance towards handling can now order the Dynamic Handling Pack, developed with the help of Nitron, which includes new adjustable springs and a new rear anti-roll bar.

About new Morgan Plus Four is already available to order, in the UK it costs from 62,500 pounds sterling without taxes (7.4 million rubles at current rates). In the near future, probably, the more powerful Morgan Plus Six roadster with a 6-cylinder BMW engine will be updated according to approximately the same program.
