MOSCOW, April 13 The law on mobilization adopted by the Rada, from which excluded the norm on the demobilization of active military personnel, will intensify the confrontation in Ukrainian society, “emotions are seething in all military personnel,” said Armed Forces of Ukraine officer Aleksey Petrov on the air of the “Direct” TV channel.
“This stupid adopted law <…> is now very strong will strengthen social confrontation in society,” he claims.
According to the officer, he now does not know how to choose words of motivation for his soldiers. Military men aged 30-40 years now understand perfectly well that they do not know when they will return home or whether they will return at all, he pointed out.
«Arriving in some conventional city, conventional Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk , Zaporozhye or Kiev, on vacation, and seeing all of our so dearly loved ones and all, of course, booked ones, who are sitting in restaurants, bars, gyms, I am not ready to guarantee you or even describe in a nutshell what it could be reaction (AFU soldier — ed.),» Petrov warned.
In addition, according to him, the news that appeared on the eve of the adoption of the law on mobilization that employees of circuses and film studios had received reservations added fuel to the fire.
“That is, there are a lot of emotions, emotions are seething, emotions are seething in all the military men with whom I communicate. And the guys, believe me, they don’t choose their words at all,” he stated.
