MOSCOW, April 12 The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation proposes to extend the ban on the export of waste from the country for another six months — until October 31 and precious metal scrap, follows from the draft government resolution published on the portal of draft regulations.
«Establish from May 1, 2024 to October 31, 2024 inclusive, a temporary ban on the export from the Russian Federation of waste and scrap of precious metals or metals clad with precious metals, other waste and scrap containing precious metal,» the message says .
A temporary ban on the export of waste and scrap precious metals is already in effect; it expires on April 30 of this year.
