TOMSK, April 12The first production complex beyond the Urals for the production of organic fertilizers was opened in the Tomsk region by the regional governor Vladimir Mazur and the plenipotentiary representative of the Russian President in the Siberian Federal District Anatoly Seryshev, the regional administration reports.
«The new production complex is the first beyond the Urals for the production of organic fertilizers. Its facilities are capable of producing products to restore soil fertility, increase yields and improve the quality of plants over an area of almost 30 thousand hectares,» the statement says.
Investments into the Organic Agro production complex exceeded 600 million rubles. The project was implemented by the Siberian Premier holding company, whose main asset in the Tomsk region is the Mezheninovskaya poultry farm. The new enterprise is planned to produce 24 thousand tons of granular fertilizers and 35 thousand tons of soil mixtures for gardening next year.
“Fertilizers from the new enterprise will improve soil fertility for three years and accelerate plant growth by an average of 25%. This will increase the productivity of farmers, the economic efficiency of agricultural enterprises and the prosperity of the families of rural workers. At the same time, the organic fertilizer plant solves another important problem the task is environmental,” emphasized Governor Vladimir Mazur.
Plenipotentiary Representative Anatoly Seryshev noted that during the implementation of the project, it was possible to organically combine the experience of many generations of farmers, scientific and technological achievements. “I am convinced that work at such a modern enterprise will bring satisfaction, and the products produced here will help increase productivity and efficiency of work on the ground,” he said, addressing the managers and employees of the plant. He also emphasized that a positive result was achieved thanks to the constructive interaction between regional authorities and business.
Governor Vladimir Mazur and Plenipotentiary Anatoly Seryshev also visited the Siberian Olive plant, which produces rapeseed oil. The company's products are in demand abroad: last year, 22 thousand tons of oil and 13 thousand tons of rapeseed cake were exported.
