WASHINGTON, April 12 US authorities are introducing a ban on the import of aluminum, copper and nickel of Russian origin into the country, the US Treasury said in a statement released on Friday.
«As a result of (today's measures), the import and entry into the United States of aluminum, copper and nickel of Russian origin, except as provided by law or specified by license, is prohibited,» the document says.
As noted in the statement, these restrictions do not affect copper, aluminum and nickel from the Russian Federation, which were produced before April 13 of this year.
